Escape Goat Records was brewed up by Cam Finlayson in the late months of 2001. Interested in helping out the music he liked, he began by working at putting together a compilation of his friends music and other bands he liked. Neil Haverty started working with Cam part way through 2002 and together they released 'In The Film They Made A Little More Articulate' on July 19th 2003. Since then, the boys have had a little help from friends (Mike Carman, Amy Leigh and Kevin Parnell could certainly be considered staff) and have released a modest number of records because they liked them a whole lot.
